Moreno and Tebow, Together At Last

So, now that he will not be donning the disgusting orange and blue any longer, I can admit that I like Tim Tebow, right? I was glad to see a team like Denver take a chance and draft Tebow. After all, he is probably one of the best college football players of my lifetime.

Now in Denver, you have arguably the best running back of the decade from the SEC along with the best quarterback of the decade from the SEC. Most likely Tebow won't get much playing time in his first season, but you never know.

I for one, would have to give a guy like Tebow a chance. The guy knows how to win a football game, and bring a team together like nobody else I know of.

Now, let's get some Dawgs on the draft board baby!

  2. Hey, aren't Denver's colors orange and blue?!

I am with you. Will never pull for a Gator while he is a Gator...and rarely pull for them afterwards. But, Tebow is a great example for kids and quite certain that as a result of his openess about his faith he has led others to Christ. Just as I am sure our own CMT has. I'll be pulling for him.

By the way, if you are a high school QB and you want to go to the NFL ready to play go to UGA.

    GO DAWGS!

I'm with ya on Tebow...I respect the kid for the way he handles himself, his ability and work ethic. I think he can be a good QB in the NFL. We shall see though...

What is your feeling on the Dirty Birds first pick? I'm kind of indifferent at this point. I really don't know much about the kid, but they say Weatherspoon's a stud. (We'll see if he's as good as OUR boy Witherspoon was/is) I sure would of liked to see Dez Bryant as an option for Matt Ryan next year...but they filled a need.

Oh well, let's see all the former Dawgs come off the board tonight!

    GO DAWGS!

  5. Windogger, it's a whole other color brother! lol

    S. Fl, I'm with you on being indifferent about our pick. Time will tell on that one. I was sort of glad we didn't go with Gresham. While we d0 need a TE soon, a defensive pick was a better option IMO.

I think we need help in the secondary and LB still too...but at the same time we need another playmaker on O. I guess their moving Jamal to DT, so if we can get a nice DE I’d be cool with that too. I'd like to see a CB, DE or WR taken in the 2nd & 3rd. That's my personal opinion...but what do I know! HA! Couldn't tell you who though. There's a lot of needs on both sides of the ball...OL, TE(like you stated), WR, DL, LB, DB...S#!T! THAT'S DAMN NEAR THE WHOLE TEAM! Can't be in that bad of shape can we??? I'd hate to see us go all D again like last year though.

There's been some rumblin about the possibility of Rennie goin to the Falcons in the 5th or so...I'd be down with that!

  7. I am definitely hoping they go Rennie! A Damn Good Dawg who would make one hell of a Falcon! I'm hoping for a playmaker next too, like you said!
